“Im Reich der Illusionen” was produced on January 15, 1987 and was originally titled, “The Great Illusionist.” The 17-page story was first published in 2 parts within the German book, Micky Maus in the Spring of 1988. 

Synopsis: Assisted by sorcerer Wan Fu, Magica De Spell tries to steal Uncle Scrooge’s number one dime.

“The Great Illusionist” was first published in the US in May of 1990 within, Uncle Scrooge 221. The story was retitled, “The talons of Wan Fu” and the US release featured “The Great Illusionist” in it’s entirety.
