“The Recluse Of McDuck Manor” is a 19-page story that was first published within the Icelandic book, Andrés Önd 22 on May 30, 1994. The story was first published in the US within, Uncle Scrooge 296 in 1995 where it was titled, “The Richest Duck in the World.”
Synopsis: The final chapter of “The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck.” After hiding-out the last 5 years as a recluse and 17 years without being in contact with his family, Scrooge invites Donald and the boys to spend the night on Bear Mountain and then to his mansion for Christmas dinner. The Beagle Boys try to steal everything in his money bin and Huey, Dewey and Louie inspire him to begin anew his adventures!
