“The Luckless Lucky Dime” is a 6-page story that was first published within the Swedish book, Kalle Anka & C:o 44 in November of 1973. The story has not been published in the US.

Synopsis: Scrooge accidentally uses his number 1 Dime to purchase a newspaper. Once he realizes his mistake, it’s too late and he’s on a hunt to retrieve his precious coin. In the end it returns to Scrooge.
