“First Mate Magica” is an 18-page story that was originally produced on December 17, 1987. It was first published in 3 parts within the German book, Micky Maus. Part 1 of “First Mate Magica” was published in Micky Maus 50 on December 8, 1988. Part 2 of “First Mate Magica” was published in Micky Maus 51 on December 14, 1988. Part 3 was published in Micky Maus 52 on December 22, 1988. The story has not been published in the US.

Synopsis: Having heard that Uncle Scrooge is going on a cruise to the South Sea, Magica disguises herself as the ship’s coxswain to tag along. The ship runs aground and Magica is forced to save his life in order to steal his number 1 Dime.
